Everything You Need to Know Before Buying an Online Fitness Program – The Right Mindset

Hello, my dear ladies!
I’ve been meaning to write this article in more detail for a long time. On Instagram, I usually post short and concise materials, but here on the blog, I can be authentic and provide you with the essential information I consider important for you. One of the most important topics I want us to discuss is the mindset you need to have before starting a body transformation. Whether you opt for an online fitness program or work with a trainer at the gym, it’s essential to understand what this decision truly involves. Most of the time, you’re motivated by the spectacular "before and after" results you see promoted by trainers. And that’s normal. We, as trainers, are proud of these transformations and promote them, but what you may not know is that these results are highly subjective. Every woman has a unique experience, and the results are never identical. Some women achieve quick results, while others need more time. Some are fully committed, while others only do half of what they should. That’s why not all transformations look the same, and the misconception that “if she managed, I can do it in the same amount of time” is a trap that often leads to disappointment.
How Wrong is the Question “How Long Does it Take?”
Many of you write to me and ask: “How long did X’s transformation take? Three months, four…etc.?” This is the most common question, but I avoid answering because I don’t want to create the false impression that results are a product you can buy with a certain amount of money and get in X months! The truth is that, most of the time, women act impulsively. They want a spectacular "before and after" and order a program without understanding what it entails. When they receive the program and realize they need to weigh their food, prepare healthy meals, and follow a workout routine, disappointment sets in. They start finding excuses, saying it’s too hard, they don’t like it, or they don’t have time.

What Does a Personalized Program Mean?
When I say “personalization,” I mean adapting the program to your current condition. It doesn’t mean it will include only the workouts you like or that the meal plan will include only the foods you enjoy! Personalization considers your biometric data, physical activity level, lifestyle, somatic type, and goals. You can’t expect to keep eating and doing what got you to your current state but achieve spectacular results. No matter how much we, the trainers, try to adapt these plans, the reality is they will require significant changes in your daily habits.
What Should You Know About Your Relationship with Your Trainer?
A good trainer isn’t there to push you every step of the way or to motivate you every day. Their role is to provide you with accurate information, guide you, and help you progress, but applying this information is entirely up to you. No one can do the workouts for you, weigh your food, or cook your meals. Facing your unhealthy habits is difficult, but if you don’t make this effort, any program will seem too hard.

Why Do Some Clients Give Up?
Many people fail to retrain their taste preferences. They avoid integrating vegetables or other healthy foods and put in minimal effort in the kitchen, then wonder why they can’t follow a diet. It’s a matter of commitment. You can’t expect to suddenly love boiled vegetables with a piece of meat or to enjoy foods you’ve avoided all this time! NO, you need to put in effort, be creative with your meals, and find solutions to implement this lifestyle! The same goes for workouts. Today you skip a workout because you’re not in the mood. Tomorrow you skip another. Over time, you start feeling demotivated, and as the program nears its end with no results, you begin to give up. This is the reality for many women: they enter a vicious cycle where they start diets, quit them, start workouts, quit them too, and the results are delayed.
Real Transformations Take Time!
Sustainable and healthy transformations require time. You shouldn’t measure your progress weekly or compare yourself to others. It’s a constant battle with yourself, and if you’re not ready for it, you’ll probably feel the program was a poor investment. This applies whether you work with a trainer at the gym or choose an online fitness program. Before investing in such a program, think carefully: are you willing to make real changes?
How to Prepare Before Starting a Program?
Perhaps you should take a break, sit down, and reflect on yourself. Think about what changes you can make gradually to prepare for such a program. Be aware that you’ll need to weigh your food, prepare your meals, work out regularly, and stick to these habits long-term. Clients who achieve results are those who understand this. They don’t negotiate every aspect of the program, don’t look for “loopholes,” and don’t eagerly wait for the program to end so they can return to old habits. They change their lifestyle, and the results they achieve are lasting.
Conclusion: Ladies, the right mindset is the key to success in any body transformation. Don’t buy a program just because a “before and after” photo motivates you. Think carefully about whether you’re ready for the changes it entails. If you’re not sure, start with small steps, make gradual changes, and prepare yourself for what a transformation truly means. Because real results don’t happen overnight but through hard work, patience, and consistency.
